Gum Arabic

Extracted from the ancient acacia tree, our natural gum Arabic is the pride of Sudan

Gum Arabic

Gum arabic, also known as acacia gum, is a natural gum that originally consisted of the hard sap of acacia trees. It is extracted from the Sudanese acacia tree, one of the finest African acacia species. The gum is harvested commercially from wild trees, most of which are located in Sudan. Sudan also produces 80% of the world’s gum arabic.
